The Amazing Spider-Man 3

An untitled fourth Amazing Spider-Man film (otherwise known as The Amazing Spider-Man 4) is in the works, based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. It is the seventh installment in the Amazing Spider-Man film series.


Production history

In March 2014, Marc Webb told The Daily Beast in an interview that he won't be directing the fourth film but would be involved as a consultant for the film.[1] Later that month, Webb has talk to E! Online there's a possiblible on seeing Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman in a future film,[2] later confirmed to be Angelina Jolie was confirmed to be in talks for the main role in the movie. In April 2014, Den of Geek reported that the Spider Slayers and Black Cat are line up for future films.[3] In late July, Sony moved the film to released date, after delaying The Amazing Spider-Man 3 to 2018.[4] In September 2014, Emmy Rossum confirmed that while they would both return for the third and fourth installment would be shot back-to-back in 2017. While promoting The Circle in April 2017, Emma Watson confirmed work had begun on the screenplay.
